How to Create a pdf for Press

For best results, follow these guidelines when creating a pdf for press:

• Click on EMBED FONTS, if this check box is available in your version of Acrobat.
• Use only TIF or EPS format in your graphics. JPG and GIF formats will not print.
• Use only CMYK or GRAYSCALE images, not RGB.
• Include bleed if any
• In the Distiller settings box, select OPTIMIZE FOR PRESS, or, for best results, download the Rampage settings file (see instructions below) and select RAMPAGE

Download the file named Rampage.joboptions to your desktop. Unzip the file.

PDF: Rampage Job Options

PC users:

Open Adobe Acrobat Distiller, and go to Settings > Add Adobe PDF Settings, then select the Rampage.joboptions file which you downloaded to your desktop.

Mac Users:

Double-click the Rampage.joboptions icon. Installation will be automatic.
